REV. JAMES “WOODY” WOODIN Married to Kim and together they are blessed with 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Made Alabama home upon retiring from the U.S. Navy in 1995. Entered Pastoral Ministry in 1998 as part of the North Alabama Conference of United Methodist Churches. Graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Graduated from Chandler School of Theology’s Ministerial Course of Study at Emory University. Has served Odenvilld UMC, Bemiston UMC, Saint Andrew’s & Oak Grove UMC Charge, Reform First UMC and served as the Executive Director of the Upper Sand Mountain Parish, a nine church Cooperative Parish. On June 30th 2023, I was received as an Elder in the Global Methodist Church and appointed to serve Randall’s Chapel Global Methodist Church in Scottsboro, AL.

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC MINISTRIES

My name is Kim Woodin, daughter, granddaughter, niece, and wife to Methodist pastors. My husband, Pastor "Woody" Woodin and I have served together through the local church and in our communities through mission service. Together, we have 4 wonderful adult children and 2 precious grandchildren. My undergraduate degree in Piano Performance is through Greensboro College, a Methodist college. My vocal education and teaching license was obtained through graduate work at The University of North Carolina in Greensboro, NC.  I am passionate about submitting myself to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in playing a part in leading others to a closer relationship with Jesus through music, whether during a worship service or in rehearsal. I also enjoy leading women's small groups and college football.


CHURCH SECRETARY

Patty was born in California but raised in Albany, Georgia. She has two grown children, Jennifer and Rhonda, three granddaughters and one great grandson. She moved to Scottsboro to marry her husband John Miller in 2005. She is active with the Emmaus Community and also volunteers with Nourish One Child.   If you have any questions, please feel free to call the church office and she will be happy to assist you. 


NURSERY COORDINATOR - VERONICA WOODALL

Veronica was born and raised in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. and she has two grown children, Trevor and Madelyn.  She moved to Scottsboro in 2006 to be closer to her parents.  She has worked in Randall's Chapel nursery since 2008.  She also works full time at Jackson County Council on Aging assisting the clients with Medicare related issues.
